Difference between JEE-MAINS AND JEE-ADVANCED
JEE-MAINS is the qualifying examination for the admissions in the National Institute of Technologies (NITs), Indian Institute of Information Technologies (IIITs), and Central Footwear Institute Technologies (CFITs). It is also a qualifying examination of admission into Indian Institute of Technologies (IITs). Whereas JEE-ADVANCED is solely used for the admission for Indian Institute of Technologies. Eligibility criteria: The eligibility criteria for JEE-Mains was 60% in the subjects of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, but it is relaxed to a pass in the above subjects due to the ongoing covid-19 situations. Any diploma from recognized institutions is also valid for eligibility. The students who are among the top 2,50,000 in the JEE-MAINS are eligible for the JEE-ADVANCED .
