Rules and Regulations in IITs

  The Rules and Regulations of all the IITs are similar and there is not much difference in the rules among the IITs. Here we can see the similar rules among all the IITs in India.  Admissions: The admissions in IITs can only be done through single window counselling on the basis of the rank secured in the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). One has to clear JEE mains and has to secure a top rank to get admissions into IITs. The counselling for the admission will be conducted based on the rank list provided by the NTA. The choice of the IITs and the Departments can be chosen at the time of counselling. The eligibility of the admissions is completing final examination of the 10+2 system, conducted by any recognized central/state board or any other recognized examinations.
